Details you give us — name, email, and (when you buy) billing/delivery address and order details; and anything in a contact-form message or email.
Newsletter sign-up — your email (and name if provided).
Payment information — processed securely by Shopify / Shop Pay. We do not store your full card details.
Technical & usage data — basic information your browser sends and, if enabled, website analytics.
Take and fulfil bookings and orders — to provide what you paid for — performance of a contract.
Send confirmations & essential updates — to run the service — performance of a contract.
Send our newsletter and marketing — to keep you updated — consent (withdraw any time).
Respond to enquiries — to help you — legitimate interests.
Keep tax/accounting records — legal obligation.
Keep the site secure and improve it — legitimate interests.
We send our newsletter through Kit (kit.com), only where you've subscribed or where the PECR "soft opt-in" applies (you bought something similar and didn't opt out). Every email has an unsubscribe link; opt out any time.
We don't sell your data. We share it only with the providers that help us run the studio, acting on our instructions:
Shopify — checkout, payments and orders.
Kit — our newsletter and email list.
Web3Forms — delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox.
Google Workspace — our business email.
Vercel — hosts our website.
Some providers are based outside the UK (e.g. the US); where data is transferred internationally it is protected by appropriate safeguards (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement/Addendum). We may also share data where legally required.
Order/transaction records: kept 6 years for UK tax/accounting.
Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe (then suppressed so we don't contact you again).
Enquiry messages: typically up to 24 months, then deleted.
